How do you romanticize your life as a mom?
Here are nine simple, but intentional, ways you can begin to romanticize your life as a mom starting now. Most of these suggestions will seamlessly fit into your everyday routine. && seriously take like two mins.
By repeatedly romanticizing your life, you can totally make it a habit.
1. Get cozy.
Make your bed inviting and comfy, use silk pillowcases, soft sheets, and dreamy blankets. The four hours of sleep that you get may as well be heavenly.
2. Pamper yourself.
Consider splurging for some beauty products that leave you feeling luxurious. Elevate your body skin care regimen with these five Nécessaires. Try a boujee hand cream or a new lip balm. && incorporate some more affordable rituals like sheet masks and whipped body butter.
An easy way to pamper yourself and spend a few mins with your husband is to do a sheet mask together. Get him some Bro Masks && make Sheet Mask Sundays your thing.
3. Enjoy your favorite fragrance.
Spritz your Chanel Chance and wear it on your daily walk to the park. You do not need a special occasion to enjoy your favorite fragrance.
4. Light your candles.
Plug in your wallflowers. Create a signature house scent that you love. As you raise your littles and make everyday magic, scents become reminders of memories. My future momma heart is full knowing my girl can one day light a Voluspa coconut candle and be reminded of home.
5. Wear your jewelry.
When I was shopping for my push present, the SA recommended studs because they were “mom friendly.” I left the store with hoop earrings. So much about life changes with littles, your accessories don’t have to.
6. Drink your water .. .
from a special cup. Water is life && it always tastes better when your cup is cute. Hopefully having a designated cup that is always full and readily available will help you drink more water. It’s like really important. If you love sipping ice cold water, consider using a YETI – cute and functional!
7. Compliment Others.
The next time you are out, genuinely compliment a stranger. Isn’t it amazing how sprinkling a little kindness can make a big impact?! Literally! Love love love!
8. Subscribe to a magazine.
Like actually. Choose a magazine with beautiful images and articles that inspire you. There is something so calming about thumbing through magazine pages. && you will have mail to look forward to every month.
9. Find absolute joy in balloons at the grocery store.
Perhaps one of the easiest ways to romanticize your life as a mom, which is to simply enjoy your littles as they grow, is the most difficult. To know that these times are fleeting and with every new stage means an end to another. My little girl absolutely loves balloons! Balloons bring her so much joy, and while this may always be, I know there will come a day when she no longer squeals in excitement upon spotting them at the grocery store. Be intentional about cherishing the time you get to enjoy with your littles.
❥ Mom hack: press record and record often. Capture the non-eventful, everyday occurrences like how she carefully eats granola out of her pink tea cup or points when she sees an airplane. It is the closest we can get to bottling up and saving the moments we wish could last forever.
As you begin curating your mom aesthetic and filling your own {coffee} cup, I hope you are able to appreciate all that you are.
You are amazing && since you are here, I know that you love taking care of your people and making them feel special.
Please remember, you also deserve all the kindness and love you so selflessly give others.
