Are you guilty of creating a Fall Bucket List but end up only drinking pumpkin spice lattes? Or maybe you aren’t sure what to include on your list and just need some inspiration. Here’s how to create the perfect Fall Bucket List so that you can live your most aesthetic mom life. With a little thought you can totally enjoy your PSL and all the other Fall things too – I promise.
How to Create the Perfect Fall Bucket List
The beginning of September is the best time to start planning for the holidays.
It is the most wonderful time of the year – cue cozy mornings and giddy anticipation. Holiday magic does not just happen though.
Halloween costume shopping, pumpkin patch visits, baking, decorating, parties, all of it requires planning.
Intentional planning.
This does not mean that you can’t be spontaneous, but instead allows you to fully enjoy an impromptu coffee date or trip to the mall. Intentional planning gives you control over your time.
I have an etc (Everything To Consider) list that will keep you organized, especially during the holidays, get it here.
Okay, so grab your planner and follow these four steps to create the perfect Fall Bucket List:
Step 1. Brain Dump
Dedicate a page in your planner for all things Fall. Write down everything you want to do this season – even the things that seem small or silly.
Step 2. Prioritize
Choose a few activities / outings that are absolute musts and a couple low-key things. These are your Fall events – treat them as such.
Step 3. Schedule
Decide when and how you are going to do all the things and add each event to your planner. This is important! Be intentional. Protect your memory-making time. Create a sense of urgency.
Step 4. Commit
We are all fans of canceled plans every now and then, but if you really want to make this Fall special, stay true to your schedule. After all, a Fall to-do list is the best to-do list!
❥ Mom hack: after every event, write down your favorite moment from the day so that you can easily look back on all your memories.
